The Force Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood said the Federal Capital Territory Police Command had initiated an investigation into the accident which reportedly occurred on Wednesday. He explained that detectives are examining the threat letter dropped by the attackers in which they threatened to kill an EFCC investigator.
