Nigerian Bar Association, Section on Public Interest and Development Law (SPIDEL )

Nigerian Bar Association, Section on Public Interest and Development Law (SPIDEL ) has elected its New Executive Council to steer the affairs of the section.

According to the information by the former Alternate Chair SPIDEL, and Member, Steering committee SPIDEL, Mr Ikeazor Akaraiwe made available to The Nigeria Lawyer (TNL) the elections were duly conducted on Thursday, 5th July 2018 at Reiz Continental Hotel, Central Business District, Abuja at the end of the SPIDEL conference.

Dr. Paul Ananaba, SAN is elected the new Chairman of Section on Public Interest and Development Law.

Ikhide Ehighelua Esq returned as Alternate Chairman.

Other positions won are;

Secretary… Kola Omotinugbon, Esq.
Treasurer…Aishatu Hassan, Esq.

The Nigeria Lawyer recalls that Nigerian Bar Association, Section on Public Interest and Development Law (SPIDEL ) on Thursday, 5th July 2018 held its conference with the theme “Adapting Nigeria’s Federalism to a time of Rising Insecurity’’

The lead speaker was Prof Jinadu Adele and discussants were Ikeazor Akaraiwe, Ikejide Ehigelua, and Israel Usman. The moderator was Prof Dakas CJ Dakas, Dean, Faculty of Law, Unijos/ former Attorney-General Plateau State.
