NBA Aguata Branch Bar Man Praises Chairman, Sabastine Anyia, For His Good Works

“A MAN OF CHARACTER” This young man called SABASTINE ANYIA, took Aguata bar and indeed the entire Anambra state branches of the NBA by surprise. In 2014 when he indicated interest to run for the office of Chairman of the NBA, nobody gave him opportunity considering the fact that he was a young man and couple with the fact that he is not an indigene of Anambra State, we thought he was joking. Joke turned to reality as he campaigned, contested and won as the Chairman of NBA Aguata branch. On the day of his swearing in, he gave 4 point agenda which he vowed to complete them before his tenure will come to an end. These were: 1. To build and complete the NBA Aguata Bar Centre that will be named Dr. Alex Ekwueme Bar Centre. 2. To produce the NBA Aguata branch Maiden Bar Journal that will be named “The Front-line bar Journal. ” 3. To chase away fake Lawyers in the branch and 4. To sanitize the Profession by arresting and prosecuting Drivers and car owners who are using NBA stickers on their vehicle. According to him the “Imposters” To some of us, these are political Statements that cannot be given any serious attention. But to our chagrin, this young man, in less than two years he built and completed the NBA Aguata Bar Centre(a story-building edifice) and named it after His Excellency Dr. Alex Ekwueme. He produced and launched NBA Aguata maiden Bar Journal named the “Front-line bar Journal.” He set up a task force that chased and eradicated fake lawyers, arrested and prosecuted drivers and car owners who are using NBA stickers. He equally introduced football tournament among the seven branches of NBA in Anambra state, for physical fitness and well-being of lawyers. Elders in the branch call him a goal getter, a workaholic, a pace-setter. His wife call him a man with golden fingers. Sir, we acknowledge your good work.]]>
