Osadolor told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Asaba that he did not step down for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate, Mr Osagie Ize-Iyamu. “I am still very much in the race for the Edo governorship seat; there was no time I withdrew from the race. “I have no plan to step down for anybody and I have not told anybody that I have done that, and I will never step down,’’ he said. He told NAN that the he only expressed the fact that his party’s manifesto was similar to that of the PDP. The candidate said that he remained committed to realizing his ambition, and that he was confident of victory. “I am determined to see the end of it all because I know I will win the race. I have a bright chance of winning. I have campaigned across the nooks and crannies of the state; I have sold myself to the people,” he said.
