First bank

A physically challenged man, Mr Kingsley Eromosele, who is a special teacher in one of the government owned school in Edo State has instituted an action against the First Bank of Nigeria PLC.
The suit was instituted in 2014 at the High Court of Edo State with the suit No B/472/14. The claimant Kingsley Eromosele alleged that him and his wife were assaulted and humiliated by first Bank branch manager in Benin , who instructed his private security guards and the police officer attached to the bank to bundle them out of the bank premises after they have damaged his vehicle and refused to repair same.

On the 7th day of December, 2016, Hon. Justice A-Edodo-Eruaga (Mrs) entered judgment in favour of the claimant (Kingsley) for the ill-treatment , harassment, assault and hardship meted out to the claimant by the bank and the police officer.

The claimant was awarded the sum of Four million, seven hundred thousand Naria (4.700,000.00) only Since the judgment was entered against the bank, they have now deplored several unconventional means to frustrate the claimant and to see that the court order is not obeyed.

His lawyer Dennis Osaretin Esq has vowed to continued to press on until justice is manifestly seen to have been done and the bank is made to pay for its wrongful acts.
