Eno Iyamba Emerges Chair NBA Calabar Young Lawyers Forum

At the end of the polls, the following distinguished learned colleagues emerged: (1) Eno Iyamba, Esq – Chairman. (2) Patience Agala, Esq – Vice Chairman. (3) Edim Effiong Edim, Esq – Secretary. (4) Doris Manyo, Esq – Treasurer. (5) Nwamara Daberechi, Esq – Legal Adviser. (6) Terem Inyambe, Esq – Publicity Secretary. The newly elected Executive Committee Members were thereafter sworn in by the representative of the Chief Judge of Cross River State, Hon. Justice Eyo Effiom Ita. He congratulated the new Exco and enjoined them to abide by the ethics of the legal profession and live up to their billings as the future of the legal profession. In his inaugural speech, the new YLF Chairmen stated thus : “I sincerely thank each and every member of the YLF NBA Calabar Branch for the overwhelming mandate bestowed on me and my exco to pilot the affairs of the Forum for the next two years. We can only but pledge our loyalty, commitment and service to the Forum. No doubt, the electioneering campaigns generated so much rancor and unnecessary bitterness. Our greatest mandate therefore is to work towards restoring the Forum to the past glorious days of peace, unity and togetherness. I extend a hand of fellowship to all aggrieved factions/parties and I pray God’s abiding peace prevail over all. The days of politics are over and there is no victor, no vanquish!”]]>
