The four other suspects were Adebayo Sunday Dada, Yusuf Saka Olarenwaju, Ogunleye Samson Adeyemi and Azeez Dayo Kola. The former medical director and others accused persons were docked for allegedly colluding to convert N84,884,005 obtained from the Federal Government to personal use. Omotosho was said to have used his position to convert the said money into his personal account in connivance with the four other suspects. He was alleged to have used his office to inflate contracts, manipulate accounts of the FMC Owo and non-declaration of the institution’s account balances as mandated by the Central Bank of Nigeria at December 31 of each year. The former FMC boss is also facing a corruption charge before Justice Lateef Lawal Akapo of the Lagos State High Court for allegedly conniving with his lawyer to bribe operatives of the EFCC. All the accused persons pleaded not guilty to all the charges against them while their counsels, Femi Emmanuel and Dapo Agbede, filed a formal bail applications before the court.
