Nwobike is being tried by the EFCC on an 11-count charge bordering on perverting the course of justice and offering gratification to public officials. The Anti-graft agency, through its Counsel, Idris Abdullahi Mohammad told Justice Raliat Adebiyi that it has amended the criminal charges against the accused and now set to re arraign him. Mohammad also said that the commission has filed its final written address alongside the amended charges against the defendant. However, since Nwobike’s lawyer was absent during yesterday’s proceedings, Mohammad asked the court for a short date for adoption of final addresses and re arraignment. Meanwhile, the anti-graft agency had alleged that Nwobike offered gratifications to some judges of the Federal High Court and the National Industrial Court to influence them to act contrary to their official capacities.
