Dr. Mustapha Adua Debunks News On The Adoption Of Candidate For NBA GS By Egbe Amofin O'Odua, Says No Consensus Was Reached

HO MOVED THE MOTION FOR ADOPTION OF ANYBODY FOR THE OFFICE OF THE GENERAL SECRETARY? WHO SECONDED THE MOTION ? Unlike the other offices that only one candidate envinced an intention to contest and unanimously adopted by ENTIRE MEMBERS; the contestants for the office of the General Secretary could not reach a consensus. There were propositions before the House which ought to be subjected to votes. The Chairman rejected the proposition to subject the propositions to vote, when we are not under Military Regime and when Egbe Amofin is not being governed by Decree . Without subjecting the propositions to vote as required by the Constitution of Egbe Amofin and standard practice, the Chairman announced the purported adoption of a candidate for the office of General Secretary. This is unacceptable, when we are not Association of Bricklayers. We are not bothered by the so called adoption, that from all indications was orchestrated and premeditated. For us, the Baloos, we so much rely on Almighty God’s endorsement, the omniscience and omnipresent. He knows the best for Baloo. We are not desperate for anything. What will be will certainly be. But we must cultivate the habit of doing what is right at all times.More so when we belong to a Noble Profession.
