Delta CJ, Justice Marshal Umukoro Inaugurates Committee To Monitor The Activities Of The Lower Courts

The inauguration was done following the directive of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Samuel N. Onnoghen to all heads of courts Speaking at the inauguration, Honourable Justice Marshal Umukoro, pointed out that the responsibility of the committee includes to monitor and check laxity, truancy, indiscipline, unscrupulous staff and report unwholesome practices to the office of the Chief Judge every three weeks. “Litigants, Legal Practitioners, the public, including staff of the various courts are advised to lodge complaints of observed indiscipline of whatever form and unwholesome practices to the Public Complaints and Public Information Desk in the office of the Honourable Chief Judge through the following contact: Desk Officer: Agbaragu Timothy Jonah Esq.
