“Right to Acquire and Own landed property in any part of Nigeria”
Every citizen of Nigeria, irrespective of sex, tribe, religion and class has a Fundamental Human Right to acquire, purchase, own, live, trade and deal on Land or landed property in any part of Nigeria. Hence, government allocation of land must be to all citizens of Nigeria and not to residents/indigenes of a particular state or persons of a particular tribe or religion.
See section 43 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999.
