Powered by Whatsapp, ‘Ask a Lawyer’ is a community of Lawyers where members get quick answers to legal questions (including on procedure and recondite areas of law) from each other to help improve the quality of their service delivery to clients. At the same time, members contribute to and benefit from enlightening legal discourse and JV wherever possible. Ask a Lawyer’s first core objective is for members to share knowledge within a platform for building enduring professional ties.
The AAL Legal Roundtable Conference
According to Convener, Imran Shitta-Bey, the idea of a real life Ask a Lawyer Conference came up about a year ago as an integral part of the Ask a Lawyer concept. This is to afford members who daily share knowledge on Whatsapp an opportunity to meet up at least once a year to do what they would normally do online but this time doing so offline in the physical world; to meet up, share knowledge, network, increase bonding and be entertained at the same time.
This year’s conference tagged “The AAL Legal Roundtable” is thus planned as
