Robert Emuekperuo, head of Oliseh’s legal team said they are prepared to serve the Federation a notice demanding the former employers retract defamatory statements to their client including insinuations that the former Super Eagles Captain insulted Nigerians while available facts proved otherwise. The Football house was reportedly threatening to take Oliseh to court for breach of contract. It claimed that the former national team captain resigned his post as coach of the Nigeria national team without prior notice as contained in his contract. But Oliseh’s lawyer seemed unfazed by the threat as he insisted yesterday that NFF will in the coming week hear from them, unless they publicly apologised to his client for ‘libelous’ claims. However, the NFF is adamant as it yesterday insisted that it paid three months salaries to Oliseh on Wednesday, February 24, and the coach resigned his job the next day, Thursday, February 25.]]>
