Other party members thereafter took the oath, including the National Chairman, Dr Olusegun Iyagbemi, and a former presidential aspirant, Dr Sarah Jubrin. The chairman, Iyagbemi, said said Nigeria was in need of good governance and quality leadership, noting that many past governments had only plundered the country. He said, “The pillars of our oath include; I shall not steal any party or government’s fund or resources from one naira upward, I shall not collect any gift that will influence my decisions while serving in office as a JMPP candidate and I shall not give or receive bribe or engage in any sexual harassment, homosexuality or lesbianism. “I shall not award any contract to myself or personal company directly or indirectly.”]]>
