The President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Augustine Alegeh, who also spoke at the event before inaugurating the NBA, Police Lawyers Forum stressed the need for security agencies to assist in enforcing the speedy administration of criminal justice by concluding investigations before taking suspects to court‎. He said that the forum would provide the first line of contact with the police. “All policemen are charged with law enforcement and the first in law enforcement is to know the law and we believe that the policemen we have in the force should be touch bearers. “They should be the leaders of the entire force in ensuring that there is full compliance with provisions of the law,” he said. ]]>
